Good News And Bad News...

Good news:
so for the first time yesterday I felt
butterfly movements in my belly. It was
so cool! Lets me know my lil poppet is
doing fine. I'm getting so impatient for
another scan. It won't be for a while
yet though.
Also logans head is still improving. I
took it off over the weekend as he had a
fever and it so hot here but there has
still been some improvement- yay!
bad news:
layla tripped over and smacked her head
off the corner of the table. Blood was
everywhere and I was screaming. I rushed
her straight to hospital and they said she
is ok doesn't need stiches and should
hopefully not scar. They didn't even
dress it, they said it heals better in the
open air.
I freaked so much it is the worst feeling
in the world when something happens to
your child. It looks really bad and has
started bruising round they eye itself but
she doesn't seem bothered at all.

It seems like when our baby's get hurt
that we are hurting more than they are,
she is a little doll, you can't see much
of him. Plus one on the way, gosh you
will have your hands full!
All the best!

hiya sorry I never wrote an explanation.
Lol. He basically has a condition known
as plagiocephaly which is where the head
is more dominant (sticks out) at one side.
His head is (was) completely flat at the
back too instead of rounded. Some babies
get it from lying too much in bouncers,
swings etc but logan was born with it.
They reckon he was laid funny in my
womb.
He has to wear the starband for 23 hours a
day and it moulds it back into place...
We had to fund it ourselves as it is
classed as cosmetic and my doctor just
told me to grow his hair long to cover it!
Grrr that got me angry.
This is the star band:
he's doing so well and its getting to a
'normal' shape now.

Haha yeah he is a really calm baby. He
only cries when hungry/over tired. He
sleeps right through the night with it no
problems. Its just unfortunate that he
has it on right over summer. He's always
dressed in just his nappy now.

Wow girl what a big improvement yeah.
Sorry to hear about your lil princess.
Last summer my lil man tripped over my
stupid mil shoes and hit the center of his
forehead on the corner of our brick
fireplace( a sichening sound that I still
can not get out of my head ) and punctured
it blood gushed every where he needed 7-8
stitches I cried more than he did and he
was 2 at the time. Yeah to the butterfly
grow baby grow.
