Did she get an answer yesterday?
You can go to a planned parenthood, they
give free pregnancy tests, and they can
tell for sure if you are or not.

Umm I called the doctor and it seems that
my hormons arent strong enough for the
urine test and planned parent hood only
gives the urine test or I have to pay the
100 to get an ultrasound!, which I dont
have the money for , thats why my doctor
told me I needed an ultrasound or a bloode
test , but as I said before I dont have
the money to get it done!

According to what i've been reading on the
pregnancy forum, shouldn't her horomone
levels be really high if she was 6 weeks
pregnant?

Yeah, .I'm 6wks, &mine are almost up
in the 8000s.
I mean, .I guess everyone is different,
but if they're that low that a hpt still
wouldn't be picking it up,
couldn't that be... Bad?

There is a possibility she's not pregnant,
but her symptoms certainly seem like
pregnancy don't they?
Is there somewhere you can get the blood
test, instead of an ultrasound? I'd
assume that would be cheaper.

A bloodtest is definitely a lot cheaper.
I wish .I had one of my bills up here from
the doctor- but .I don't. I know my last
u/s was $226. I think bloodtests are
around $100. That's still expensive when
you don't have a job or any way to get
that kind of money, though.
I guess all that can be done is wait for
af or wait another week or two &then
test again.

Didn't she say the ultrasound was going to
be $100? That's crazy expensive for
anything! :\ this has to do with human
life; ya shouldn't have to pay for stuff
like that in my opinion.

I know. Even if it's a life or death
situation, they'll do it &then bill
you up the arse later on. It sucks. My
boyfriend was hospitalized about 2 years
ago, &it was life or death. If he
hadn't of gone &got the treatment, he
would've died. 2 years later, he's still
getting bills. It's ridiculous. I mean,
it makes sense because you know, nothing
comes for free &doctors have to make
money, too. But the cost of some of this
stuff is absolutely absurd.

I don't know about where you're from, but
here in cleveland, you can go to the
outpatient lab, pay $15 and get a
pregnancy blood test. You call in 4 hours
later, and they give you the results. My
doctor wouldn't schedule me an appt.
Until I did that.

If your body is showing such signs of
pregnancy, i'm amazed a pregnancy test -
even urine ones - don't come up positive!
I hope you find the answer you are looking
for. Good luck!

Whether you're pregnant or not..... You
really need to see a doctor. B/c if you
are pregnant, I don't think it's a good
sign to not have enough hcg to get a
positive..... And if you're not pregnant,
you have another issue that needs
addressed.

I have to say that when I was about a
month late I took a pregnancy test and it
came up negative. I started cramping a
few weeks after that and assumed I would
be getting my period. That was going one
for about 1 month. I did another
pregnancy test about a month after that
and it came up positive. I was about 3
months pregnant when I found out. Every
woman's body is different and may not
produce the hormone at the same rate or
normal rate as another woman. I'm not
sure if you want to be pregnant, it really
doesn't sound like you are financially
equipped to handle it. It's important to
find out as soon as possible so you can
start taking care of yourself, like eating
healthy and taking you vitamins and maybe
excercising! Also, to prepare yourself
mentally! Well, good luck and hopefully
the outcome is what you want it to be!
