Hi ,ive posted b4 but that was 4 different
reasons,,my dr told me today I have
tmj,this is all new 2 me.Ive had alot of
bad ear infections & went back today
thinking it was my ear again.But he said
there perfect and told me about tmj,,is
this really my problem??I read up on it
& do see I have some symptons,mine
mostly are the ear pain,but I also get
headaches,shoulder pain..He told me not to
sleep on that side,told me about the foods
I should & shouldnt eat,,but omg im in
so much pain ,anyway im glad I found this
& will read all your comments &
try to learn more.

The problem with tmj is that the symptoms
are so varied and different, its shows
itself in many forms,(hence the reason
doctors find it baffling) I had had tmj
problems for 4 years now and three major
operations, but have never had problems
with ear pain. So it shows you that
everyone suffers in different areas yet it
all stems from the tmj. One piece of
advice I must give is make surgery your
very last option, as I said I have had 3
operations resulting in the removal of my
left tmj and am no better off.
