Long Story..should I Be Worried? Posted: 01-17-04 16:08pm
Ok...I had sex for the first time when I
was 14..I told my mom and I got a pap test
and everything but I never filled my
prescription for bc because I told my mom
I wasnt planning on having sex...But then
I met a guy and we've been dating for over
a year..We started having sex and my mom
found out because I thought I was pregnant
at one point..So she took me to the doctor
again and I finally got put on bc...Well
around christmas I was changing the
patch..And my patch change day is
tuesday..Well I took it off and I forgot
to put it back on..We had sex that night
and then I didnt get home for like 4 hours
after..I put my patch on and my period
came as normal but right after my period I
started having pains in my lower stomach
or ill feel like I have to throw up and
kinda dizzy..Should I be worried or could
I just be sick of something.. Thanks a
bunch!

I don't know much about the patch and i've
never taken birth control. I know if you
miss a pill it's a problem and if you
don't take it around the same time every
day it could make it less effective. The
symptoms could be a sign of pregnancy.
Was your period like usual? I think if
you put the patch on you should be ok if
it works like the pill at all. Let me
know what happens.

Birth Control Is Different For Everyone Posted: 01-18-04 01:30am
I dont know much about the patch as I
didnt even know there was a patch until a
few months ago. As for the pill I have
been on that since I was 13 and im 25 in
may, I dont take mine the same time
everyday I never have I never saw the
point. Also I have missed pills in my
cycle and have never worried about it
either, I think it is an individual thing
and everytime I have been regular the only
difference is that my day changes but that
has been a recent thing, not sure y but
everytime it changes a day I think im
pregnant I know mentally its not true but
it is sometimes good to dream.
I got off the subject a little if u r that
concerned call ur doc or a health clinic I
live in australia so not sure wot the
clinics and stuff over there are but im
sure they would give u some information.
Oh and our chemists where we get our
scripts filled are pretty helpful u might
want to try that if u cant get any
satisfactory answers on here.
Good luck with everything
from someone who cant wait to have a
jellybean all of their own
