Well, I had my appointment today...

And i'm one centimeter dilated! Heck yeah! And my doc told me point-blank that they won't let me go over my due date. At my appointment next wednesday, they're going to "help things along". I was too excited to ask how... Kinda wish I had now. I'm assuming one of those tablet thingies that gets inserted into your cervix?

I haven't been this happy in weeks. I'm going to meet my little girl soon!

I'm due .August 8th, so two weeks from today. And i've had a *few* contractions, but they're short and very inconsistent. Until my appointment today, I was pretty much convinced that I would go to 42 weeks. I couldn't imagine spending the rest of .August pregnant.

I know how that is. My body has been having contraction here and thier. Nothing consistant. But I have been having them for about 2 weeks now. I am sure I will go over my 40 weeks mark. I really don't want to though. Maybe my doctor will be like yours and they won't let me go over. My baby already is in the head down with butt in ribs, sitting in the pelvis and my cervix is thinning as well. I guess well see

I know this is off subject but, being 9 months pregnant like the rest of you, I was wondering if you have experienced this. My belly button "popped" about 7 months pregnant. I noticed today, that it is almost flat! Where the heck did it go? Anyone else experience this?
