Lmp Date Off From Tvu By 2 Weeks! Posted: 07-26-06 10:56am
I was hoping someone could help me. I
went for my first prenatal appt. This
week at what was exactly 8 weeks a 1 day.
The doctor did a tvu and thought I was
only at exactly 6 weeks b/c all he could
see was the yolk sac and no fetus or
heartbeat. I had tested positive on a
home pregnancy test exactly 3 weeks before
the appt, and I had some symptoms such as
sore boobs and the feeling of a period a
week or so before I tested positive (i
thought I was just going to be having my
period!). So my question is, is it likely
my baby stoped developing at 6 weeks and
that is why it appeared the way it did on
the tvu? What are the chances of this
pregnancy continuing? Fyi - I haven't had
any nausea and the only symtpoms seem to
be sore, swollen breasts, and I have not
had any bleeding or heavy cramping. The
doctor wants me to come back in 2 weeks
for another tvu but the waiting is killing
me! Thanks for any help you can give!
