Spent the Night In L & D... Posted: 07-28-06 16:36pm
Hey guys I havent posted in a long time
just because I have been rea;;y busya nd
been doing a lot of things in the last
months that ihave to myself.
On wednesday morning I woke up with pains
and pressure in my back so I went to lay
on the couch to see if they would go away
thinking that I might of just slept the
wrong way or something, after lying on the
couch for about 1/2 hr I noticed the pains
were wrapping around to my abdomen and
were like excruciatting pain that would
come and go so I told my sister I was liki
think I am having contractions so she
timed them and they were about 20 mins
apart roughly and she was like ok well we
are going to take u to the hospital if
they get worse or if they get longer so we
wiated around for 2 hours or so adn they
got longer and worse so I went to the
hospital and tehy rushed me by stretcher
to the hospital where I will be delivering
at and they put an iv in me adn I had to
stay the night the contractions went on
until 11 30 that night but it wasnt
effecting my cervic so I guess these are
what they call braxton hicks
contractions!!!....Crazy feelings wow!!!
I thought I was going to have my baby
right there it was crazy they did a prom
swab to see if ull have your baby
premature and I guess I am going to havea
premature baby which dosent surprise me
because it runs in my family alot
..Anyways just thought id share my crappy
night .. Hopefully I dont have another
one like that it is so hard to tell fake
labour from real.. Even tho everyone says
u will know when its real labour I donno
if I will......

I went in the hospital monday july 31 with
the same thing i'm 37 weeks along. My
husband and I stayed the night. It was
the worst night of my life with the iv I
was in the bathroom every 45 min all night
long.
I was having light contractions and dr
said I was loosing my mucus plug and could
have the baby that night or the next day.
Well it's wednesday aug. 2 and i'm home
with no baby.
Funny story while I was in there my
husband and I herd this poor woman
screaming her lungs out, I was like ok
take me home now please that scared me to
death.
