Okay this might be long..... Well I was
on the pill back in december 2005 and well
I came off of it in the middle/ near end
of my pacage and then didnt get a period
for about 4 months. Well after those four
months I got a period so I started the
pill again, took it for about a week then
I stopped (im terrible at remembering to
take it) anyway, I have had 2 periods
since being off the pill but now im about
2-3 weeks late. My boyfriend and I dont
use condoms, and he almost always cums in
me. We have sex on a regular basis as
well. If you have any suggestions please
let me know, I know I should go get tested
but I cant do that until I can afford a
at home one, I do not want to go to the dr
right away.

It scares me that you're having
unprotected sex when you can't even afford
a home pregnancy test. Do you know how
much a baby costs?

Home pregnancy tests are ridiculously
cheap. I think I paid $15 for a
three-pack, and that was a name-brand
test.
If you don't want a baby, don't have
unprotected sex! It *will* catch up with
you!

Reading all of your posts, either you are
trying to become pregnant or you are
incredibly terrible at being consistent at
taking birth control.
Planned parenthood offers free
pregnancy tests. You might consider
that.
From what you have written, last .November
you took the morning after pill and have
taken birth control pills sporatically
ever since. Either you want a baby or you
don't - this road does not go both ways.
If you cannot take your birth control
pills on a daily basis, perhaps it is time
to consider a different form of birth
control. The patch or an iud are
excellent choices for women who don't want
to remember such a trivial thing as
pregnancy.

Have you tried the shot. It is pretty
good. You get one every three months.
I had been on the pills before, too and I
forgot to take it on time, too. Do you
have any insurance, if you do, go to a
plan parent hood they can help. If you
do not have insurance they go by your
income, so they might beable to do it for
free.

Either you want to be a parent or you
don't - despite popular belief, babies
don't just happen. I suggest using some
kind of solid birth control and using it
consistently, especially if you don't want
to get pregnant. And I agree that you
shouldn't be screwing around without
protection if you can't even afford a home
pregnancy test, especially since you can
get them at the dollar store.
Also, I strongly advise against the shot.
It might be the most convenient having to
receive it only three times a year, but
the side effects can be absolutely
horrible. Some women feel no side
effects, but others can feel things as
crazy as panic attacks, hair loss, muscle
soreness, and heart palpitations. The
shot also is said to increase your risk of
osteoporosis. Definitely let this be your
last option, because there's so many
horror stories about the shot out there
that it'll make your head spin.
I suggest the iud - it's temporary,
effective, and you don't need to remember
a pill every day or a patch every week.
It may be painful to have inserted if you
have not given birth, but it will be so
worth it when you know you're protected.

Thanks for the advice. Im awful at
remembering to take the pill. I have been
considering the shot. My boyfriend is
allergic to latex and even the non latex
condoms give him a rash. We do the pull
out method but it dosent always work. I
get off work late and I work pretty much 7
days a week so its hard to get to a
doctors office. Im not planning on having
kids, but my boyfriend and I said if we
get pregnant then we get pregnant kind of
thing. I personally know I am too young
to have a child. I just came here for
advice, not to be picked on. Im not one
of those teens who wants a baby badly. I
want one when im married and settled..I
just wanted advice before I go to the
doctor. I feel embarassed going in there
alot freaking out about being pregnant.
Anyway, thanks for the people wo didnt
judge

I agree, the 'advice' I gave did sound a
little harsh. I don't want to be
judegmental, but if you don't want to have
a baby and you feel too young - then
definitely do not have a baby!! If you
work 7 days per week and still cannot
afford a pregnancy test, it isn't a good
idea to have a baby. If you are unable to
find time to go to planned parenthood,
pregnancy is a bad idea. You know what is
right for you and you know the answers to
the question you asked.
if you have any suggestions please let
me know, I know I should go get tested but
I cant do that until I can afford a at
home one, I do not want to go to the dr
right away.
the answer is that you need to take a
pregnancy test, no on here can tell if you
are pregnant.
