I'm the same one who write the "17 and
pregnant" post. My mom and sister took
me to an abortion clinic. I got there
and I freaked out. The lady there told
me that they do not do procedures on
people who are not 100 percent sure about
their choice. So we went and talked to
my family together. They were nice and
lovey dovey in the office. Once we
left, all hell broke loose. By the time
we got home, my mom had told me to get out
of the house. She said that if I want
to give up all my dreams and ruin my life
she didn't want to watch. I packed most
of my stuff and left. I'm am currently
living with the daddy-to-be!! I'm lucky
because my obgyn that I had through my
insurance has his own clinic with his wife
and they agreed to continue seeing me
(free of charge). Does anyone have any
advice on what steps I should take next?
This is all so scarey and it seems to be
happening so fast. Is there anyone else
out there in my situation? I feel so
alone.

You have a roof over your head, hopefully
your relationship with the father to be
isnt terrible. Continue to take care of
yourself and your baby, as a back up you
should check around the area for shelters,
some areas have group homes just for
mothers to be. You have to understand
that as soon as you are born parents plan
your future and it is honestly
disappointing to parents that their
thought to be future harvard grad will
soon become a teen mom. Family is family,
in a perfect world your mom would have
been happy to be a grandmom, but hey, shes
not. She may come around, she may not.
As far as the abortion goes, dont do it
because someone else wants you to, do it
because you think its the best option for
you and your baby! You may find that
these are not the ideal circumstances in
which you wanted to bring a baby. Good

That happens! Especially when the family
is closed minded and cant see thru things
and think possitively!
But u r lucky enough to have a place to
stay, hey just so u know there are lots of
centers that will take teen preg girls and
give them a roof!! So be sure to check
where one is in case u cant live with the
dad anymore for whatever reason ok?
And dont worry much, and congrats on the
nice gyno!! That's really great news coz
ur baby and u will be in good hands. So
u dont want to abort the baby or u do?
If you dont, that's great news coz u will
have lots of joy with a little one that u
created!!
dont worry, everything will come into
place once u are settled down and know
what u wanna do, and if ur family has
thought it thru and decide to help u,
that'd be great, if not, the hell with
them right now, the first priority is to
take care of urself and ur baby!!
