Hi I don't know if this is really a bowel
question, but I couldn't find an anus
forum. It might be a bowel one, I don't
know. Over the past few weeks, I have
noticed a dark purpleish looking sacs that
have grow on the anus, outside of the
anus-hole, not inside, but right at the
edge, and I have noticed when I push down
on them, they feel like there is a round
object in them. The object feeling like a
small ball, can be hard at times, and soft
at other. I am not sure what it is, but
it does not itch or hurt in anyway. It
does not constipate me, but I am wondering
why these purple lumps/sacs have all of a
sudden grown there. I have not had any
anal or any sex at all, so I know it
cannot be a std. I did some research and
my best conclusion was pinworm, but the
symptons and conditions don't ass up. It
doesn't itch, and they are purple. Well
they feel like little egg sacs, but i'm
not sure, so if someone could tell me what
these small purple lumps/sacs around my
anus (there are about 5 or 6 of them by
the way) I would be greatly appreciated.
They just randomly appeared, and are veyr
tender to touch, except the biggest one,
which sometimes can be hard. So if
someone can get back to me, I would be
obliged.

I just looked at my anus again, and I saw
alot of bumps. I felt them, and they feel
kind of hard. When I walk around and then
look, the bumps are gone, but when I make
it seem like I am about to go to the
bathroom they come out again, or whenever
I sit down, they come out. I think they
might be worm eggs or something. Is there
a limp knodes in the anus hole? Because
they was a little line going down there
that looked like it had bumps on it to, im
not sure, but i'm starting to get scared.
And it is very embarrasing.

For starters, pinworms arent really rare
you know, there's more than 200 million
ppl that has pinworms in the world, and a
good fraction of it is in the us.
They're not that harmful either, unless
you're a female, then they can cause more
damage.
Anyways, usually the eggs are laid outside
of the anus, not under the skin. Because
the way people are infected by pinworms is
that an infected person will scratch their
rectum and in turn will pick up some of
those eggs under their nails, and then the
eggs will be transferred to others from
some sort of interaction between the
infected person to the uninfected
person.
So if it's bumps, perhaps it's skin tags
that looks like bumps unless they're
perfectly round.
Since you're not experincing any symptoms
then you could almost eliminate that on
your list, although many do not experience
symptoms, but for most of the part you
would experience some itchiness.
Another thing could just be that it's
blood clots that forms under the skin in
cases where you rub your anus too hard
while cleaning.

I was going to suggest haemorrhoids too.
Many years ago I was diagnosed with a
thrombosed haemorrhoid which was a purple
bump such as you describe. It hurt like
hell. If a person can get one - I see no
reason they can't get more than one.

If you do have the perple lumps, dont
worry. Ive done extensive reasearch and
hav come to a conclusion that yes they are
pinworms. The treatement for them is to
just see your docter and get a perscribed
medecine which will alliminate the spread
of the pinworms. I am not sure how long
they last, but if you do see your docter,
im sure they will tell you how long they
will last for. They are harmless, and
mostly just itch a lot. So for everyone
who has this minor infection there is no
need to worry, just get the medicine, and
continue on with your life

If it is indeed hemmoroids, Preparation H
feels good. Try the hemmoroid
suppositories (keep chilled in
refrigerator) and AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
