Negative Preg. Test, Had Period, Symptoms Still Persist... Posted: 07-31-06 17:37pm
Okay, so I thought I may have gotten
pregnant about a month ago. Had symptoms
like sore breasts, darkening of areolas,
little bumps on areolas. Veins in breasts
more prominent. Crampy in lower abdomen.
Some backache. Frequent urination and
unusually tired. I took several pregnancy
tests and they all came back negative.
Then my period started 3 days late. It
seemed like a normal period. Lasted about
2 1/2 days. (3 days is normal for me) had
bad cramps during it like usual. So now
its been about 10 days since I had my
period. During these ten days I didn't
give much thought to being pregnant. But
I have noticed that my symptoms are still
lingering. I figured they'd be gone by
now if I wasn't pregnant. But today I
read that it is possible to have your
period and still be pregnant. So I took
another test today. Still negative. I
currently am without insurance for about 3
months. So I can't afford to go to the
doctor. Is is possible to be pregnant?
Has anyone had a similar experience?
Please help.

Yeah I have heard u can get like normal
periods for like 3 month then they just
stop that happend 2 a few of my friends
where they have still gotton there period
and thats why they never knew they were
pregnant till 3 or 4 month both found out
about the same time.. I got my period
2day but it was a unusal one for me so if
I might end up takin a pregnancy test
later on in the month if I still get
symptons. Maybe u should take another 2
be sure!!Up 2 u?

I havent had any experience like that but
if your symptoms still persist and you
still think that you are pregnant, then
take another pregnancy test. If it still
comes out negative and you are still very
worried I would strongly advice you to see
a doctor. I know that you said you
haven't got insurance, but its best to
seek medical advice to put your mind at
rest. Good luck x
