I know you must get lots of posts asking this same question but anyway I am 18 and I noticed a lump yesterday on my groin and im not sure if its a hernia. I play alot of basketball and ive bin playing every day for the past 2 weeks so I don't know if thats got anything to do with it. I've done the cough test but I dont feel anything. And it doesnt hurt when I bend down to touch my toes or do a sit up. Have you got any idea of what this could be and is it a hernia ? I've got an appointment at the doctors on friday but I just want to put my mind at rest. Thanks in advance :d

I also had a large lump near my groin and it was indeed hernia-no need to worry.

I had a large lump also near the groin area and it was indeed hernia-i don't think you have alot to worry about.
