I don't know 'why' it is, but I saw a
special on pbs or something about
conception thru birth and the fetus'
hearts start beating really, really fast
then slow down as they mature. I'll bet
it stays at 140ish now.

I don't know why it does that either.
Mine did the opposite. It started out
around 120 and last time it was 163!

The smaller a living thing is, the faster
the heartbeat.
Ie sparrows heart- mega fast- elephants-
mega slow.
As your baby grows, the heart becomes
stronger and therefore pumps more blood
around, when it is smaller, the heart
needs to beat faster to get the same
amount of blood around her little body.
Sounds like she's coming along nicely.
I'd say stop worrying, but I know you
won't rest easy 'till you are hoding her
in your arms will you!
Xxel.

You are so right I dont think I will be
able to stop worring...Until I have the
little one in my arms...And as is turns
out I have been having another
worry....Today I have been having stomach
pain, I dont remember experiencing it with
my son
the pain sort of feels like a dull ach and
only really seems to bug me when I breath
deeply if I am sitting in certain
positions.....Anyone else experienced this
before, if so I would be glad to hear
about it to ease my mind.....If it helps
any I am about 15 weeks
