I went to fitday.Com and checked my stats
for the day. I was totally shocked. I
figured that following stan's diet was
only getting me around 1,000-1,200
calories per day. Wrong! I have been
feeling good and dropping weight on 1,791
calories a day!!! I'm in shock.
Here is what I input:
results: calories fat
27 almonds, unroasted
187 16
8 oz ground turkey
385 22
4 cups squash, summer, fresh
143 02
5 tb olive oil
597 68
4 cups romaine
22 0
2 large whole boiled eggs
154 11
2 large whole eggs, omelet
185 14
.5 avocado, raw
118 11
total: 1791 144
74% of my daily intake is from fat, 6%
carbs, 20% protein. Of course I change
up the protein, vegetable and nuts from
day to day. I was really shocked. I
have really dropped 2 entire clothing
sizes (nearly 3) and I have been eating
with this plan now for 10 weeks as of
tomorrow.
The only thing in there that looks off to
me is the fat for the turkey - I could not
select white meat turkey only. I don't
think the white meat organic ground turkey
I purchase has that much fat.
The site is www.Fitday.Com. It
is free and allows you to track your daily
in take, and allows for personal food
modifications.
Thanks stan for proving that it is the
quality of calories and not just the
quantity that makes a difference!!!

The good thing about fat is that the
calories are more energy packed than
carbohydrates, so it's actually very good
for you if your carbohydrate intake is
low.

I bet you are eating so many more because
you have more meals per day than I have.
I'm 5 a day and sometimes 6 a day
depending on how late I stay up.
I think it is a great site to help keep
things in check.

I went on fitday.Com and my stats were
calories: 1552 fat: 115 carbs: 69 protein:
72. I think I have to work on the
carb/protein ratio.
