Migraines And the Weather Posted: 08-05-06 21:07pm
I am interested in a finding a way to
track if anyone has weather-related
migraines. I cannot seem to find rhyme
or reason as to why I get migraines when I
do. I have wondered for some time if
they were weather related.
I seem to get them right around odd
weather changes, but not every time the
weather changes. I got one the other
day, and I wonder if it isn't the
excessive heat wave I have been dealing
with. (i live in the mid us.)
it's not consistant, but I wonder if
people are sensitive to pressure changes
or something about the weather changing
that makes migraines come on. Or body
temp changes...Or something.
Any thoughts?

Some people the barometric pressure
changes cause migraines, we're pretty sure
that is one of my triggers, because I dont
seem to have any obvious ones. I was
going to get a barometric pressure reader
but I was afraid if I saw it low/high
first thing in the morning I would get one
b/c i'm stressing about not getting one.
Mine are less in the summer ususally, but
I notice before it snows..Or before it
rains, a large change will causes them.
Hope this help, maybe google some info
about weather related migraines
