Yes I have had seziures every since I was
13 months old and now that I am 19 I was
just wondering I want to have kids later
on in my life but I was just wanted to
know since I was taking lamital and keppra
for my seziurs would it give my child side
effects from my medication would it come
out deformed. Or what would even happen
to me if I became pregant? What should I
do?

Hi there,
i also have epilepsy. I used to work in a
pharmacy and I remember that we used to
fill prescriptions of keppra for pregnant
women with epilepsy. Of corse, you should
consult with your neurologist and obgyn
before becomming pregnant, but I don't see
any reason why you could not have a
healthy child.
