How long does semen stay in the system? Is it possible for a woman to concieve if she has sex (unprotected) a few days (less than a week) after her period is over? Thanks

If you have a 28 day day cycle it is not likely to get pregnant a few days after your period. Sperm on average is viable for 2 days inside your uterus during your fertile time. It can however last upto 5 days with optimal conditions but less likely.
