Hey ladies, I need a second opinion... My
mom and mil are throwing me a "rubber
duckie" baby shower. We didn't think we
were going to get another chance to find
out the gender, so they went ahead and
started planning. They bought all the
invitations and decorations already but I
am getting a third ultrasound this
thursday and I might find out the baby's
gender. They still want to do a duckie
theme, but they also want to let people
know boy or girl. The invitations are
unisex duck so they want to make little
"announcements" to slip inside of the
invitations. (they want to print little
2inch by 2 inch square bulletins that have
a stork and in pink or blue letters type
"it's a boy" or "it's a girl" and put them
on the inside of the invitations with the
registry announcements.) do you think it's
tacky or do you think it's ok ?

I don't think it's tacky at all - people
always love to know the sex of a baby and
it will help them choose presents.

I think it's a cute idea! I think it's
better to do that than waste more money on
different invitations, let us know what
you're having :)

Not tacky at all! It is helpful in
knowing what to buy! Plain yellow gets
old ;)
it's a cute idea!
Have fun at your baby shower and good luck
at your ultrasound. Seeing that cute
little baby inside you is so much fun!
