Q: Leg Cramps

I'm in my 2nd trimester and i've been having leg cramps at night for about 3 days now. They are so bad that they wake me up at night! I don't get them during the day though. I've always been told they were due to a calcium deficiency if you had them before the 3rd trimester. Has anyone else had these and is that true?

I get them constantly and they are sometimes so painful I have to stop what I am doing, but ive only started getting them at the beginning of the third trimester. Have you spoken to your midwife, maybe shell be able to perscribe you something for the pain, or if shes worried, test you further?

Oh the joys of pregnancy! Leg cramps can be common in pregnancy. I got them with my last 2 pregnancies. I hope I don't get it this time.
Mine went as my pregnancy progessed but I don't know if there is anything you can take for it as it is completely random when it happens.

I get them at night or early in the morning. If you try to move your toes it should help or try walking
