Losing Sleep Over This- Sick With Worry!

You are probably gonna think i'm crazy but I have been constantly worrying about the effect my new baby will have on my family.

You see I am very lucky to have a boy and a girl at the moment but whatever the sex of this baby, one of my kids is going to feel left out. If its a boy then layla will be the only girl, if its a girl then logan will be left out.

Its worrying me so much. My hubby said don't worry we can try for another in a year or so to even it out but what if that is the same sex as the new baby? That'll be even worse!

I know i'm probably being completely stupid on this matter but has anyone else felt like this? I feel really guilty for the odd one out already...

Please give me some advise... Thanks

Maybe you'll get lucky and have a dog? Lol just kidding.I seriously think your over reacting. They are too young to care what you have,i think they'll just be more happy they got another little sibling. There may be jealousy anyway but only because its a new baby, not because of the gender! : ) relax!

Don't worry about it, kids don't care about gender.. My brother grew up with our female cousin as his best friend coz they were the same age.. He's the middle child between my sister and me.. So surrounded by girls! It never bothered him.. Actually when my mum was pregnant with me, my brother said "i hope it's a girl".. He was only 6.. So cute =p

kids do get jealous of younger siblings sometimes, but you can avoid it by giving your other two the same amount of attention as the new baba.. I'm sure you've got experience in that already! =)

Kid's don't over think these things the way we do. Also I think gender isn't much of an issue when kids are still kids. I know I played with everyone and barely noticed there was a difference between us.
