Proactiv Is Suppose to Make U Break Out Posted: 08-09-06 19:06pm
Hi I am currently using proactiv and about
four of my friends use it and say it is
suppose to make u break out before
actually working. And they all have clear
skin. Well I have been using it 4 a month
and it has made me break out like crazy.
But it is only on my cheeks. And they're
the big red ones that leave scars. And im
thinking of quiting because its taking so
long. Is it true that I t works after it
makes u break out?

I used it, it seemed to help after a
while. But then it seemed to stop working
but then I didn't even use it exactly like
you were supposed to. But I don't think
it made me break out worse when I started
using it.

You definitely should stop using it if
it's breaking you out like that. Normally
when trying a new ritual like that or a
new antibiotic made for your acne, your
skin will get worse before it gets better.
That is normal.. But what you're
describing [deep pimples] - that shouldn't
be happening after a month of proactiv.
Especially if you're using the product
faithfully.

I used it and it never workes I payed alot
and got nothing out of it, I bought
clearasil pads and was washing my face
with neutregena pore something and that
seems to work better than all the
expenisive cr@p/prescription stuff...
I have used just about everything the only
things that seem to work so far have been
4 things but two need to be used together
~clearasil pad+neutregena pore refinig
cleanser
~avon porefection mask (this stuff is
amazing) can only use it 2-3 times a week
though
~spectro gel is the best
