Dh and I have been ttv for over a year and
a half and no luck. We are both under 30
and in decent health. I know this stress
is starting to effect me and I often
wonder what is wrong with me. It seems
funny that you notice more pregnant people
or babies when you want one so badly.
I have finaly given into my fears and made
an appointment with my gyno to discuss
testing options to see if there is in fact
something wrong with me. In the mean time
(could not get in for 2 months) we decided
to start taking ovulex and after a month
no luck. I have pulled as much pressure
off of our love making and I believe that
the ovulex has increased my sex drive.
The funny thing is that lately I have been
afraid of becoming a parent even though it
is what I want. I am just nervous about
the unknown and what we will have to give
up... I know it is counterproductive
thinking and this is realy more of a vent
than a question, but I realy do not have
anyone else to speak to about this. Our
friends do not have or do not want
children so my plight falls of def ears.
Heck I have even had a few friends hint
that once we have a child I will not see
them anymore since they hate kids... That
realy makes me sad..

Hey assena... My husband and I have been
ttc for about 8 months now... I am 26 and
my husband is 30... Like you I have
never noticed soooo many pregnant women in
my life.... And I am not fond of the
green colour I turn everytime I see one...
I am going to try for a few more months
before seeking my docs help... Hopefully
it won't be necessary.... I have been
taking a good multi... Along with
dong-quai and vitex daily... I can
totally understand what you are going
through....It is so hard not to get
stressed about something this important...
As for your friends.... Do what is right
for you and your future family... If they
don't like kids... Then they are
choosing to end your friendship... Not
the other way around.... We only have
one life... No dress rehearsals... Baby
dust to you...

Lizzie you are right we only have one life
and I think that my friends will come
arround when the time comes. They seem to
be concerned that I will disappear once we
have children. Sorry not like that. They
may not see me as often, but I am not
about to leave friends I have had for more
than half my life. We will just have to
find a comprimise when my family expands.
