Breast Tenderness Disappearing Posted: 08-10-06 11:50am
I'm ttc and I was experiencing some breast
tenderness that never went away after my
last period. I've got another two and a
half weeks before my next period (35 day
cycle). I have given myself a pt knowing
it may just be too early to tell and it
came up negative.
Today is the first day the tenderness has
disappeared. Am I looking at something
other than pregnancy?
Thanks in advance for your replies!

if you have 2 1/2 weeks before your next
period, are you sure you have even
ovulated?
Breast tenderness is due to having
hormones in your body. It can happen at
any time - it happens often during your
monthly cycle and is attributed to the
hormone surge of pms.
Some women get this when they are
pregnant, although oddly not all women do.
It tends to happen more around your
missed period. And it is much more
painful and annoying than the pms related
breast tenderness.
This is far too early for a pregnancy
test. If you haven't ovulated there is no
way you would be pregnant.

Period isn't regular theres no telling
when i've ovulated. I notice that if I
wear a bra my breast hurt. I do
realize that it seems too early however
i've never experienced tender breast after
my period ended only a week before
getting my period.
I wouldnt be surprised if it was due to
some hormonal imbalance.
