Everyone is telling me that with their
first pregnancy it took forever to show.
Some ppl said 6 months and some ppl said
they showed right away. Ok my thing is
im 28 wks (7mths) and I still dont look
all that pregnant. I have a belly but its
not big. If u didnt know I was preg, u
would never guess. So when did everyone
show!!??

I started showing about six months as
well...It was weird because for a long
time I just felt fat and then all of a
sudden it was just a little belly and then
of course at the end I was huge...I am
5'3" and I was about 125 when I got
pregnant and at the end I was about 170 so
I really blew up...But it was definately
worth every minute:) hang in there it
will be there before you know it!

I started showing about a month or so ago
and i'm 6 months preggy :) it started with
just a little pooch under my belly button,
but now i'm getting so big that ladies in
the grocery store ask me when i'm due :)
it seems like my belly got huge in just 3
weeks or so :) once it starts to show, it
doesn't take long to really look preggy :)

You know what?Someone told me that most
womens first pregnancies end up in a mc
for some reson and a lot of the time it is
because they are dehydrated.It doesn't
seem to be the case with you guys!

I remember with my first that I went to a
birthday party and this gir sitting across
from me was one month ahead in her
pregnancy---i was dismayed to see she was
totally showing, and i, at 5ish months,
was still wearing my 'large' size (about a
size or two bigger, but no mat clothes
yet). It really bummed me out!
But then by christmas (about 6 weeks
later) my aunt was telling me she'd be
surprised if i'd make it another 3 months!
I totally popped out, gained about 12
pounds in two weeks.
Everyone is different and I think first
babies generally take more time to show
because your muscles are still strong and
(relatively) taut. One of my friends
hardly wore mat clothes at all, right
through to the end! Just the way your
body is built, and sometimes that has to
do with height and weight, but sometimes
not. It's a bit of a mystery...

Wow, i'm super jealous! I swear my belly
just came out of nowhere in the last week
and i'm 19 weeks (4.5 months). I think
its natural to want to show off your
growing belly, but everyone's body is
different. You will probably not have to
deal with stretch marks, so consider
yourself lucky! I'm a first time mom,
and I take lots of pictures of my belly
because I know from my sister's experience
that it will never look the way it did
before again. Its a good thing i'm
going to be an lpn for plastic surgery
because i'm pretty sure i'll get a nice
discount on a tummy tuck =)
as long as your baby is healthy I wouldn't
worry about not showing too much...The
baby is what counts!
