22 yr. Male who was a heavy chewing
tobacco user / heavy drinker
i have had a sore throat (trouble
swallowing) for about a month now and also
discovered a white "pea-sized" lump on my
lower gums. The lump does not hurt and I
can move it with my finger but the veins
around the lump have become dark blue and
very noticeable..... I just found the
lump about 2 days ago it's like it just
sprang up over night. Also prior to the
sore throat there were red lesions on my
tongue but they disappeared after about 2
weeks.
I also have anxiety/ panic disorder so
this is driving me crazy.... I'm afraid I
may have mouth cancer. I'm currently
away on vacation and would not be able to
see a dentist for about 3 weeks..... Will
I be okay in that amount of time? I know
that oral cancer can become deadly.......
How long before it spreads to other areas
of the body? Do tumors grow that fast?
If it is cancerous.... What is life
expectancy, any way of a cure?
