New Here! And Bc On Weight Question Posted: 08-12-06 18:01pm
Hi all! I'm new to this website. So i'm
still learning things out, but hopefully
i'll pick it up fast because it seems like
all the other forums i've used. Okay
here's my question:
i have been on bc for like 4 years. I
had gained a ton of weight on it and can't
seem to loose. Anyone know any bc that
doesn't cause weight gain? Because I
can't seem to loose any weight sense i've
been on. Okay thanks all!

Bc can cause weight gain, but it depends
on which type you are on. Depo is known
to cause a more signifigant weight gain
than say the pill or the ring.
Also has your diet changed at all? As we
women age and getinto our later 20's our
metabolism slows and need to be more aware
of what we are eating and make sure we are
more active than we were in our
teens....(lord knows it happened to me)

Try a different birth control pill. I
read that pills with low hormones don't
give you so many side effects. Just
started on ortho tri cyclen lo and I
haven't gained weight or had any side
effects.
