Pleas Help...can I Be Pregnant If... Posted: 08-13-06 02:21am
If you had unprotected sex at night after
you took a plan b contraceptive that
morning? What happened was I was little
bit late for 1 pill, about 5-6 hours late.
I had sex with a condom a couple days
later and the condom broke, so the next
day I went and got plan b. That night we
had another incident....How possible s it
that you can concieve after taking the
plan b bill only 10 or 11 hours prior???
Please help me guys, i'm so inexperienced
and freaked out. And i've learned my
lesson.

I dont know for sure, but it sounds
unlikely. If I were you I would wait and
see if you're period is on time. Try not
to stress too much, cause that can delay
your period. And if you still feel weird
about it, take a pregnancy test. But
remember this, many early pregnancy
symptoms are extremely similar to pms
symptoms. And, if you stress about
possibly being pregnant, your body will
make up symptoms. Believe me..I've been
there. I dont think you're pregnant, but
to be sure, wait a while and take a test.
Good luck!

Thanks. I already had one period since
that incident (that was the last time we
did it too), but the period was only 10
days after, so I dont think I would have
missed that one anyways. I know what you
mean about not stressing, I wish I could
stop, it's hard to even sleep, I know its
not a good chance that I could be pregnant
but my mind tries to convince me tat I am.
My breasts started getting sore 2 days
ago, that worries me too, because i've had
that before, but very rarely.

Well you said it yourself, when you're
stressing about it and thinking about it
constantly you're mind will make up
symptoms. Its been long enough since the
incedent to take a test. Get the
sensitive kind that can sence the
pregnancy hormone up to a week before your
missed period. I'm not and expert so I
really dont know how it works with which
period you miss and all that. But a test
should be accurate now. And if you really
want incredible accuracy, go to your
doctor or even your local clinic and get a
blood test done. But all this is for your
own peace of mind...Because I really dont
think you're prego. Good luck!

Ok, I went this morning to a clinic and
they did the pregnancy test with the
urine. It came out negative but the
doctor said I need to come back in two
weeks, he says it's too early for it to be
accurate. The intercourse was on july
19th and now it's august 13th...Isnt that
long enough?

Not always. It depends, some people are
bursting with hormones when they are first
preg. Some arent. Give it a few weeks.
Chill.
Hope everything turns out the way you want
it mate!

if you were pregnant, you would have
missed your period, no matter how early
you were in your pregnancy... Because a
period empties your uterus. Now, if the
period was unusually light (and I have
heard this to mean it is too light to need
a pad, and is pink instead of red and
brow) then that could mean you are
pregnant.
