I had a normal period on july 30th and lasted 5 days. Saturday the the 12th (yesterday) I had intercourse in the morning. Afternoon, I had vaginal discharge with very light pink blood. Could this be implantation bleeding or does it sound like I was ovulating or could it be becuase I had sex that morning?

I don't think it could be implantation bleeding.
That usually takes at the least... 4 days after sex.
If the egg is fertilized.

But everyone is different.

because you wouldn't get implantation bleeding until the fertilized egg implants on the uterus and that takes a few days.

it could. You can look up 'implantation bleeding' on google and see what it has to say.

Are you late on your period yet? ;)

I looked it up but it didn't say anything about how many days it takes. I am suppose to get it this week I think. If not i'll test this weekend.Usually my boobs start to hurt the week before or at least days before and they are only a little sore, and my nipples still are very sensetive which has never happened so. . .I'm getting my hopes up and I hope they don't get crushed!

When does implantation bleeding occur?
Usually 5-12 days after ovulation, so just around the time that you would be getting your period. Bleeding during ovulation is something different.

That is from pregnancy-info.Net
it definately was not implantation bleeding that early, I would be looking for it sometime in the next couple days though.
Good luck!

Hi.
Yeah the ovulation time does seem about right if you have a 28 day cycle.
It all can get real confusing and detailed.
But I was just saying that if you did ovulate like the 12th that is just the fertilization and then it takes 5-10 days ( I have also read it could be as short as 3 days though) for the egg to move and implant itself in the uterus and that is when you get the implantation bleeding.

Well what I am going to start doing is getting busy every other day from the day after my period ends until my next one comes, or hopefully doesn't come! Mine are all messed up right now too, it used to be real regular and it has changed a lot in that last 3 months.
I had a m/c in april so I am thinking that has something to do with it.
But if you know what day you started the last 2 times or so count how many days are in between so you can maybe gage it better. And it is a little bit annoying but I do bbt charting too.
