Week Late On Pills... Posted: 08-14-06 00:56am
I've been on vacation for the last 2
months, and I forgot to bring a pack I was
on with me when I left. I tried having it
mailed to me, but no luck, got lost in the
mail or something. That was a bad idea
because I then realised i'd only miss 2
pills before I got home and could've had
them there waiting for me. But I thought
it was okay since it was only 2 pills
missed before I could get a refill
instead. I just called it in, and I won't
be able to pick it up till wednesday.
That'll be a full week i've gone without
it (it's the end half of the first week to
the first half of the second week i've
missed.)
i've been on tri-nessa, off-brand name of
ortho tri-cyclen, for the last couple
months. I haven't had any sex in the last
few days, and i've just started bleeding
lightly in the last few hours. As of
right now, i'm not sure if it's just
excessive spotting, or my period has begun
way, way early (which doesn't make sense
because I just had my period, and started
the first few pills.) i'm not sure how to
begin taking them again when I get them.
Should I dive right back in to the day I
should be taking, should I start over
immediately, or should I wait till the
bleeding stops by itself (if it continues)
and then start over?

The best thing to do is to start taking
the new pack on the day you should
start..Like if it is sunday, start
sunday.. You know..
Even if you are still bleeding, take
them... You need to take them for 7 full
days for them to be effective.
