Well.. I went back to the drs on august 10th, they did another ultrasound & the baby is 8.7lbs!! I about died.. I still have 11 days :( my cervix is still the same. I did try that oil mixed with orange juice at 6:30 last night & nothing..I had prepared myself to be crapping all night long.. & just nothing..That's better then what I expected. I go back weds. Why did you try caster oil not only does it give you a realy bad tummy and caca like mad, it also can cause problems during labour, you should have askd your midwife about it and im sure she would have strongly adviced you not to, if u have 11 dayz to go just w8 or try normal things like walkin alot currys sex and things like that

Castor oil will not cause problems during labor...I tried it and my doctor told me that it was not worth it only because its just a myth ..And it really doesnt work the way people say it does...All it made me do was throw up ..Which I was use to because I was sick throughout the beginning of my pregnancy..--but like I said it isnt going to cause problems during labor its just a laxative...They use to use it back in the day for constipation and things like that..

just because your brother came a week and a half early doesn't mean it was due to the oil.It could have been many things
