Re: Movement
Its possible that you did feel the baby, although normally you can't feel the baby till around 20 weeks. It feels like kinda like gas bubbles lol..

I'm sure its possible, when I went for my last appointment I was 12.5 weeks and the doctor asked me if I had felt the baby yet so I wouldn't be to alarmed.

I am 14 weeks on wednesday. I haven't actually felt movement yet but i'm sure some do since the doctor was already asking me about it. You might just have a very powerful kicker in there, maybe a soccer player?! Haha

Personally I don't think it's possible to feel movement much before 16 weeks or so and anyone who thinks they're feeling it sooner is mistaken. This is just my opinion. At 12 weeks the baby is like 2 inches long and weighs 1 ounce, it would be near impossible to feel this and I don't know why any doctor would ask if you had. I think when you're pregnant and you're waiting to feel movement that it's very easy to mistake gas bubbles or normal stomach "blips" for fetal movement, call it wishful thinking.

I didn't feel a thing until 21 weeks. I think on average they say between 18-22 weeks is normal and it may take longer for 1st time moms.

Yeah, I agree iheart.. When I was like 12-14 weeks, sometimes I would feel what I though was my little girl but it wasn't... I didn't actually feel movement until I was about 18 weeks. What may feel like movement to you right now, is actually probably just gas, sorry but you baby is too small to be felt. When you get farther along, there is a recognizable difference between gas and your baby. You'll know it's your baby and have no doubt when, in fact, you do feel her.

I'm 15 weeks today and i've felt the baby moving for about two weeks now. It's very light and usually I only feel it if i'm sitting really still or about a half hour after I eat. Some days I don't feel a thing, but I think that's normal...Right?

Hey everyone! I think it really depends on your size. I'm a small person and I felt her moving at 16 weeks but it was not all the time and it felt like someone was thumping me from the inside. It was always in the same place and when she started moving alot I knew that it was her because it was the same place. It feel really cool. Has your husbands or boyfriends felt your babys move yet! My hubby has and his eyes just lighted up and he had a big smile on his face. It was so cute. I am 21 weeks and 3days.
