35 Weeks Prego..high Blood Pressure In Hospital Posted: 08-15-06 20:22pm
Hey ladies. Yesterday I went for my usual
appointment at the doctors office, and he
checked my blood pressure several times
and it was high and baby's heart beat
wasnt normal. So he sent me to the
hospital for a non stress test and blood
test. The lady said everything was fine
and dandy. Just suppose to come in again
if I have heartburn. So yah, that was my
day :p it was scary. They said just to
take it easy cuz I havent changed my diet
or anything. But will this affect my
labour or anything? Not really sure why
blood pressure going up is bad I mean I
know its not a good thing in general, but
in pregnancy wat can happen?

Did they let you relax before they took
you back? Where I went, they always made
you sit waiting for about 10-15 mins. To
let your blood pressure stabalize from
having to carry such a large load.
Even if something were to arrise, your
angel can survive at 35 weeks if they were
to need to deliver.
I hope everything gets better!! Just try
to relax. I know it's hard knowing that
your baby is almost here!!!!

Yea, mine went up to 140 over 90 towards
the end. I only made it to 37 weeks
though.
