Hi, my partner recently started having extreme pain and burning while urinating. He went in for ghonnerea and chlamedia (spelling not correct) and the test result came back negative. Does anyone know if these tests are accurate and if he does not have that what would it be? Could it be the hpv virus? I called my doctor and she said I was safe if his test came back negative, I am still concerned?

Was he tested for a simple bladder or unrinary tract infections....The symptoms you describe are very common for both of these along with kidney infections, it may not be an std.
