Can I be Pregnant with an Irregular Period? How long before Posted: 08-17-06 00:16am
Okay I am on Orth-tri cyclen lo for the
past six months every thing has been
normal. When I started my spacer pills as
normal all is well, I started having a
really dark brown discharge, I usally have
this before my period and after its always
really light. This time things are a
little different, It was dark an the
discharge lasted for at three days and
when the fresh blood appears its super
light and thin and barely lasted a day I
also have very tender breast and I'm going
to the bathroom every ten mins. I was
wondering could I be pregnant? I'm gaining
weight, always tried some nesua and
heigten in smell. I was at the hospital
and had taken a bedside pregnancy test,
(negative) but I've been with my husband
after that point. How long before the
pregnancy hormone is dected in urine.
Should I take another test? Is this
consider a normal peroid mine are
nonething like this. I was wonder could I
be pregnant? I

If you are taking the birth control pills
regularly and according to the directions,
there are very little chances of becoming
pregnant (less than 1%). Irregular
vaginal bleedings are not a sign of
pregnancy. Rather, irregular bleeding is
a side effect of birth control pills. It
doesn't seem likely that you are pregnant
but you can do another pregnancy test if
you want. Home pregnancy tests become
positive 10 days after a possible
conception.
