Treating Dry, Sore Throat with Lumps..related to Stress? Posted: 08-17-06 13:03pm
I have recently been feeling very stressed
and i'm not to sure why!
I keep getting mild head aches, a very dry
sore throat that feels like there is some
thing stuck there it looks like there is
lumps in my throat as well, on a few
occasions I have had the feeling my heart
is getting very tight as well as aches and
pains in my body. On a few occasions I
have felt very uptight and uneasy not able
to concentrate on anything.
A few people I have mentioned this to have
told me it is stress related, and that I
may be having panic attacks on occasion. I
keep getting very worried about this
feeling and lumps in my throat as its been
there for a while, can you confirm if this
is a reaction to stress. I would be great
full for any advise, as well as
recommendations for natural remedies I may
be able to try!
You can visit your GP (General
Practitioner) to examine possible causes
for irritation in your throat. If
necessary, s/he might send you to an
ENT-specialist. If everything is OK,
(there is nothing in your throat) then it
is possible that your symptoms are
stress-related.
