Hi there it could be that the baby is engaged and pressing down on you causing the pressure. The period pains could be pre-labour contractions. When are you due?

Rosejackson does your tummy get realy hard at night time and u cant move? I feel like I cant bend sometimes you should see me tryin to get out my bed to go pee in the middle of the nite :))! I swear im thinkin of sleepin on the loo just to prevent having to stuggle to get up 6/7 times a nite :))! Im due 2 weeks on thurs and I feel so uncomfy and I get so much backache since last weeks I think its just becoz im so big now:)) fingers crossed I go into labour soon :d!!

Yes thats exactly how it feels. It feels so weird. Last night I think I spent about an hour on the loo and every time I came back bobby nicked my quilt! Lol I seriously cant bend anymore as it hurts so much. Im just glad that my heartburn has gone, but thats been replaced by going to the loo so much in the middle of the night. Still dont get a good nights sleep lol

Lo. I know the feeling. I have a funny birth story for my 1st. I kept going to bed early to get a good nights sleep and one night two weeks before my due date I went out clubbing for my bro in laws birthday. I was out til 3am, got home and my contractions started half an hour later! I'd had no sleep and don't know how I managed to go through 26 hours of labour! Lol

What sucks is that I didn't get a good rest afterwards as layla was a bad sleeper and woke up every hour at nightime until a week before her first birthday! I was a zombie and I was pregnant with logan at the time.

Hubby used to feed her but I would still hear her and wake up

Aww bless. I have a feeling my baby is going to be just like that as its already a hyper little thing, even though its calmed down alot within the last couple of weeks. At the moment im getting all the sleep I can get, like little naps during the day because I probably wont get the chance when the baby is here and I also dont want to be too exhausted even before labour starts lol

Ahhh, rosejackson it definitely sounds like 'your time is near' lol! Best of luck with it, I can remember feeling a lot of the things you describe. Towards the end it's like every twinge and you think, "is this it?!". I had had a few false starts so I didn't even tell my snoozing hubby that I was having contractions until they were 6 minutes apart because I don't think I could quite believe it was happening! When they were only 2 minutes apart I definitely knew though!

Keep us posted and good luck!

Thanks. Ive thought over the last couple of days 'is this it?' but I went for a nap and felt slightly better afterwards so it obviously werent. My partner knows ive been in alot of pain recently and has been really calm, which is more than I can say for myself

Yeah ive noticed that and it also helps with my heartburn. My mums slowly getting used to my pains and isnt getting excited anymore. Neither am I :( im just getting fed up of waiting and needing to go to the loo about 20 times a day which is a pain in the arse! Especially since when I do go to the loo I dont need it anymore lol
