If your doctor isn't worried, I wouldn't be.

I'm going to predict boy ;)

Aww congratulations.
The babies heartbeat is meant to be between 120 and 160 bpm, so baby sounds perfectly healthy to me. If your at all worried about anything give your midwife a call, thats what they are for :)

The baby's heartbeat fluctuates depending on if they're resting, sleeping, or being active. I was concerned earlier in my pregnancy because my little guy has always been around 150-160 and at my 18 week u/s it was 128 when a week before it had been 155. Of course I freaked out because 128 seemed so low but then at my next appointment a few weeks later it was back in the 150's. I think it's also supposed to go down as you get further along too (i might be wrong but i'm pretty sure I read that somewhere). At my 27 week appointment it was in the 140's and I forgot to ask what it was at my 29 week one but i'm told everything is great. I bet at your next appointment his hb will be back up where you think it should be. Maybe he was just snoozing last time.

I predict boy too!

hey jknight,
I been feeling that alot lately too. I had a butterfly feeling bout a week ago but since then it feels like some kind of pressure below my button. I dunno if its movement from the baby or what lol. Maybe someone will give us some answers cuz I would like to know also :) I just know mine isnt gas lol.

the normal rate for a healthy fetus is between 120 - 160 so your baby is fine..Gl
