I started the nuvaring for the first time
3 weeks ago, and 2 or 3 days before I was
scheduled to take the ring out (for the
ring free week) my period started.
This is the first time i've ever used any
type of birth control... Is this early
bleeding normal? I removed the ring
yesterday, as scheduled, and am planning
on starting it again next week. Can
anyone tell me if this is normal?

except mine is 17 days after my last
period...the 2nd week I've had the ring
in. It's essentially the same amount of
blood as a normal period. I'm supposed to
have the ring in another full week before
I take it out...will I have another period
in a week? Will this continue to happen,
or is it because I'm a first time BC user?
