What do these terms mean?
Low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion
mild dysplasia
hpv associated cellular changes
is this bad????

This means your pap came back abnormal and
you have hpv. This means your going to
have to be checked every so often not just
once a year to make sure it either goes
away on its own or to make sure it doesn't
get worse. If you smoke...Stop!!!!
Hpv can cause cervical cancer and smoking
ups your chances even more. Plus smoking
lowers your immune system big time so your
body won't be able to clear it up . Talk
with your Dr. About what he thinks you
should do now ....Biop's or even if a leep
needs to be done. Use protection now so
you will not spread it to your partner
even though men usually don't ever show
symptoms...But he could spread it to
anther woman. You would be suprised how
many woman in america have it and most
don't know it yet. Be careful and good
luck.
