It seems that you are suffering from
lumbar and sacral spondylosis as well as
spondylosis of the cervical spine (neck).
You can request an X-ray image of the
lumbar and sacral spine. Spondylosis
manifested via disc degeneration,
osteophytes, and arthritis of the
inter-vertebral joints. All such
pathological processes lead to deformation
of the spine and pressure on the spinal
nerves. Deformation of the spine disturbs
stasis (the body's normalizing
equilibrium) and can cause spasms of the
vertebral muscles. In turn, muscle spasms
can cause back pain. Pressure on spinal
nerves can cause pain, itching, numbness,
muscle weakness and paralyses. Nerve pain
is sharp and originates in areas
innervated by the affected nerve. For
example, during sciatica nerve problems,
the whole leg can experience pain because
the sciatic nerve innervates the whole
leg. For now, you might consider
requesting medication to help reduce the
pain (painkillers). Eventuallym if
required, disc degeneration can be treated
surgically by removing the entire disc.
