Question About Early Pregnancy Posted: 08-21-06 17:12pm
Hi. I just found out I am pregnant...
Well, I should say that I just confirmed
by taking a pregnancy test. I have
suspected for a few weeks. This is me
and my husbands first time and we are very
excited. I just have a couple of
questions. First, I am exhausted all
the time. Is this normal? Is there
anything I can do to not feel so tired all
the time? Also, I am unusually cold all
the time. More so than even before (when
I used to get cold easily). Now, I can
barely tolerate being in the air
conditioning. I thought you were
supposed to be hot all the time when you
are pregnant. Has this happened to
anyone else? I know I should be taking
pregnancy vitamins, but I haven't gone to
my doctor yet (i did make an appt.). Are
there specific vitamins that I can buy at
a regular store that might help with these
issues? Thank you for anyone's help.

It's totally normal to be tired all the
time. I'm 10wks pregnant &.I am
absolutely exhausted all the time. My
doctor told me to sleep when .I'm tired
&eat when .I'm hungry. Your body is
working major overtime. Don't try to stay
up when you're deathly tired. Sleep! You
need it!
I take .Flintstones vitamins for the time
being. My doctor said they work fine. I
take those &a folic acid supplement.
So that's what .I suggest doing for now,
until you get some prenatals. :)

Prenatal Vitamins Posted: 08-24-06 12:32pm
If you go to any pharmacy, they have a
selection of vitamins. I went to
walgreens and they had quite a few
different over-the-counter prenatal
vitamins.
