Hi I hope you can help,my son got weighted
3 months ago and he weighed 18 pound,today
I got him weighed and he weighs 16.Im
really worried sick and at a loss at why
this could be happinig.The health visitor
wasnt any help and just told me she will
be in touch but this has goten me relly
worried.He is 9 half months.He weighed ten
pound at birth.He is said now to be on the
2nd centile.His height and head circ is
fine for his age.He has not been sick or
had diarroea and has been fine in himself

Maybe he's just moving around and burning
more calories. He should be crawling and
or pulling up.
I wouldn't worry about it too much. If
he's not giving you tell take signs of
being sick...He's prob just losing his
baby fat!!!

Hun your baby is fine. Sometimes the
scales are off or could have just ate
right before the last weigh in or even a
piece of clothing could have made a
difference it could have been alot of
things. All babies weights fluctuate.
Lord knows all of mine have. If your baby
has lost more weight at the next weigh
then I would start asking all of the
questions and dont stop until you have all
of the answers that you are looking for.

Thanks,im getting him weighed in a week
and ill see what happens then,any ideas as
to why medicly a baby could lose weight
and if the worse,andyone no what could be
up?
