I was shocked to learn I am pregnant at 40. I had gastric by pass 3 years ago and lost 125 lbs. I had hernia surgery with a permanent ab mesh in 2005. I want a healthy baby but don't want to regain my weight. How will the permanent mesh effect my pregnancy ?

Help !!

I am not sure how the mesh will affect your pregnancy, I wanted to congratulate you!

Talk to your doctor about how many calories he thinks you should take in while pregnant and walk, walk, walk, walk as much as possible. ;)

have a happy healthy 9 months!
