Forcing wont make your baby come out..It will more likely give you bum pimples.Lol

eat a high fiber diet and drink lots of water and avoid fruits when constipated..Besides that it sounds pretty normal what youre experiencing.

i was constipated about 2 weeks ago. (im 17 weeks today!) I hate taking meds and all up for remedies! My sister recommended me to eat a bowl of "frosted mini wheats" every morning or every other morning. It helped her from being constipated. And well I eat it just about every other morning and im not constipated and havent been since I been eating it! I would try it, I mean hell its only $3 a box.

Drink more water and you could buy some fibre tablets. You need to check, but im pretty sure they are fine to take during pregnancy...Its a capsule of natural fibre called psyllium husks. You take them 30-60 minutes before meals, with 2 glasses of water. Available in health food stores.

I am pretty sure you .C.A.N .N.O.T take fiber pills or powders while pregnant. Check the labels it will tell you. Check online pregnancy sites--and last but definitely not least--check with your .Dr. Most herbal remedies also, are not allowed while pregnant.

Just eats high fiber cereals, oats, cream of wheat. Every day or every other day. Eats breads hi in wheat and grains.

You'll be fine--

unfortunately, .Jo... Thats not true. Fiber supplements are fine to take while pregnant.. As a matter of fact, doctors reccomend it after u increase ur fluid and fruit and veggie intake without it changing anything.

As for checking the labels, even .Tylenol says *consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding.* im suprised fruit loops and tator tots dont have warnings on the bags. Its just political mumbo jumbo.

And when it comes to herbal remedies during pregnancy, there are several to avoid just for their chemical properties. Not sure which ones, u can google it.

i don't know about the weight thing. You should drink a lot of water to keep your insides flushed out as much as possible. Going for 10 days is not good and could be indicative of something else. Fiber is good, but taking too much fiber can cause gas and bloating, so don't overdue on the fiber.

A few other things to mention, you should walk. That sounds silly when you are constipated, I know, but walking (gravity)can help your digestion. Another thing you can try is to go poop every day at the same time, whether you have the urge to go or not. Make it a regularly scheduled thing to go sit on the toilet for 5-10 minutes every day at the same time. This will train your body. It works, as hokey as it sounds.

Mention this to your doctor at your next appointment though. That seems an awfully long time between poos. I'd get awful cranky if I were you!

Good luck.

Avoid fruits such as bananas and apples when constipated because they will only bloat you more and they are more difficult to digest.

here are some tips for treating constipation
Try some of these, it might help you hopefully:

* Carrot juice and tomato juice are very good for constipation.
* You can mix 1 teaspoon of olive oil with lemon juice and water. You should drink it in the morning before a meal.
* A mixture of thyme and honey is very good for constipation. A teaspoon of thyme is enough.
* Apple cider vinegar can be used to relieve constipation. 2 tablespoons of the vinegar will be enough. It's important to drink it on an empty stomach right before you eat your breakfast.
* Drink plenty of water, at least 5 glasses of water a day.
* Do not eat bananas, they cause constipation.
* Drink potato juice, just grind it and drink up the liquid.
* Guava is a very effective remedy for constipation. You should eat it with its seeds.
* Squeeze one lime in a glass, add salt and water and boil it. Let it cool off a little and then drink it.
* Take 2 tablespoons of flaxseed oil with warm water after a meal.
