Stil Bleeding.
Posted: 08-24-06 19:58pm

Alright ive posted before that I found out I was pregnant a week ago. But im bleeding. And its like a period but its lighter and its brown blood with brownish blood clots. Ive read up that it could be my bodies way of trying to figure out the whole pregnancy thing. I really hope it is and I really cant go to the doctor till my medicaid goes through (thanks to my boss who fired me I have to apply to medicaid) he fired me due to my being pregnant. Annyways ive read that its normal and im only about 4 weeks along but has anyone else had this?

Also my boobs are not super super sore but are still pretty sore and im still constipated and gassy. I feel like im on my period but then with all the tests saying im pregnant I feel completely lost!

Anyways if you can help me out id appreciate it!

Call the doctor's office, explain to them about the medicaid (they are understanding and you'll also need a doctor's confirmation that you are pregnant). They may get you in while you wait for health insurance (medicaid shouldn't take very long to get if you go into the dshs office first thing tomorrow).

It could be normal. A lot of women have first trimester bleeding. But it is important you follow up with a doctor.

Good luck!!

I had the same exact experience.
Except mine didn't turn out so good.
I don't want to scare you or be a downer.
But .I'm just sharing my experience.
I started spotting when .I was around 4 weeks.
Only spotted for a day, &then it went away.
A week later .I started bleeding.
I hadn't been approved for medicaid yet,
so .I called the doctor &explained the situation.
They said since .I had applied for medicaid, they'd let me come in.
I had an ultrasound &it showed the baby in there-
but the measurements said .I was only 5wks2d,
when .I should've been almost 6wks.
I went home confused, but .I was still getting postive hpt's.
Bleeding went on for a few more days,
&.I finally got a negative hpt.
So in my situation didn't turn out so great.

Buuut .I got preggo again literally about 2 weeks after my miscarriage.

So .I guess the point .I'm trying to make is..
Don't panic! It could be something or a could be nothing.
&.The doctor should take you in asap.
Just make sure you tell them that you're applying, or have applied.

Oh, &if your boss fired you because you're pregnant,
you can actually sue him. That's extremely illegal.
There are right for working pregnant women.
I'll see if .I can find a link or some info for you.

See I knew that I could sue my boss but usually in those cases the judge will just give you your job back, which is why im not even going to bother. Also he "gave" me 3 grand to put towards my car (i was a nanny) and then he told me he wanted to set up a payment plan (which he never told me this as he was giving me this money which is why I was so shocked at the time) so I dont want to sue him only to get my job back to only have to start paying him back his supposed 3 grand (that he lied to his wife about) its all a strange thing but I needed help at the time.

Anyways

ive already come to terms if its a miscarriage. I feel like im on my period only its a really light one compared to what I usually get. If im not pregnant it will only give us a chance to save up for when I am actually pregnant. But if I still am pregnant then lol I am lol. Anyways my motto is " sh*t happens" so either way things will be fine.

I also read in another post thing that your 19, I just thought id let you know so am I lol.

Anyways ttyl!

when I lost my full-time job, I had to apply for medicaid, and while I was waiting, I just simply had my caseworker call my docotr's office and tell them that I am waiting for the paperwork to be completed. My doctor's office just put on file that I was being approved and they let me have appointments.
