Oh man...You really think she's fat????
Her .Dr is gonna chew me out!! She eats
3-4 stage 2 jars of food per day and her
formula 4 times a day. But she only
drinks 3/4 ounces after she eats her
food.
Her appt is on the 5th. She was 14lbs
last time. I can only imagine how much
she'll be this time!! She made 4 months
on the 22nd, so hopfully she'll be in a
good percentile!!

woah shes 4 months and on stage 2 jars?!
And eating 3-4 of them? I would be
worried about my child becoming
overweight. (not being mean)

Oh man... Don't tell me that!!!
Ok...This is what she eats: wake up
time(7:30am): 1 6oz bottle
lunch
time(11:00am) 1stage2 jar of veggies,
1stage1 fruit, and 3/4 oz of milk.
Mid
day(3:00pm) 1stage2 jar of veggies,
1stage1 jar of fruit and 3/4 oz of milk.
Dinner(7pm): 1stage2 jar of meat, 1stage1
jar of fruit, 4oz bottle.
Night
night time(10pm): 1 8oz bottle of formula
mixed with 6baby spoons of oatmeal
cereal.
This is the diet that her doctor put her
on...So hopefully he won't sh*t a brick.
He put her on solids at 5 weeks because
formula alone was making her gain too much
weight.
Jesus...I hope she's not overweight. I
know they say chunky babies are cute...But
if they're effin obese..That's not cute.
In comparison to other 4month olds I know,
she's incredibly tiny!! I've seen one
that looks like the michilin marshmello
man!!!!!!!

Don't worry about it. It does sound like
a lot of food for a 4 month old though.
Trey was 25lbs by 6 months, but he's tall
too. I only started him on stage 2 foods
at 5 1/2 months.

i dont understand...He said formula alone
was making her gain too much-so he puts
her on stage 2 foods??And not only that,
2-4 jars a day?!! Wow. Wouldnt that
just make her gain even faster?
According to "what to expect the first
year" and our ped., you should start rice
cereal at about 4-5 months. You start
other foods at 5- 6 months (6 months
ideally, though I know not many people
wait because they are too excited). For
the first couple weeks you only give them
a few bites a day-not jars!! Then you
move on to 1 jar a day.
I know all docs are different-but I would
look into a second opinion if I were you.

I hear what you're saying. I know that
every doctor is different. He's just
really .O.L.D .F.A.S.H.I.O.N.E.D!!
Lol...I've talked to people about it and
they look at me in horror!! But i've
talked to their parents and they say "oh
yea, I did the same thing!"
i don't think she's gonna die, she's in
perfect health. She just has a
varied diet.
Let me guess...You don't give your baby
water either. I give my child no less
than 8oz of water per day. And I bet
everyone's doctors totally disagree with
that...But oh well. When you live in .New
.Orleans with the heavy heat that we have.
With the heat index peaking at 110degrees
farenheight you'd give your babies water
too.
I know this thread will prob start a huge
ordeal because one baby's eating habits
are totally different than anothers. I'm
not trying to start drama...So if that's
what this thread is gonna do, then let's
end it.

playing with her feet and trying to eat
them!!! She's growing up sooooo quick! I

dont worry about her being over
weight...All babies look chubbie at that
age...Jace is/was the same way...When jace
started walking ...He started going down
in weight...Because they get more
exercise...She isnt overweight..So nothing
to worry with..They usually grow into
it...Once they get taller ...
I think chubbie babies are the cutest..Lol
