I stopped taking my birth control pills (i
wa on them 8 years) so my fiancee and I
could have a baby. I stopped taking then
on August 16th. I had my period, but had
sex on the last day of it, which was
August 20th. I also has sex on August
22nd, and 25th. Can I be pregnant?
In my epxerience, I don’t think that you
can get pregnant so soon after coming off
birth control pills. One of the expected
side effects of contraceptive pills is a
temporally lack of ovulation after coming
off them. Most of the women (99%)
establish their normal menstrual cycle
(with ovulation) within the first 6 months
after stopping birth control pills. You
can take a home pregnancy test after the
10th of September if you don’t get your
next period before then.
