Faint Positive...is This Real?
Posted: 08-31-06 09:51am

I took a test (clear blue) on my birthday(27) and it said "not pregnant" I was too discourged to eject the test and see the lines...Just moments ago I went to use the restroom and desided to peek at it anyway...And omg! There was a faint positive! This would be the frist! I've looked at them before and I have never gotten a faint positive! Could it have been to light for it to read "pregnant"!Omg! I'm freaking out!! My hands are shaking and i'm almost in tears! I dont want to get my hopes up...So please tell me if this has ever happened and you were pregnant and it was real!!! I cant take another test yet becuase I just went to the bathroom. So anyone if you can please tell me i'm not dreaming! I've been ttc for almost 10 months! Please even a good luck and baby dust would help! Thank you! Thank you! I'm so nervous!! ~cynthia~

You know what it is? I know that if you leave it sitting out for a length on time it shows a bit of positive. The reading that you got after three minutes is the accurate one. I am pretty sure.

Yea, the positive was the result of a evaporation line. Or something like that...The directions will tell you to disreguard the outcome of the test after 10 mins.

It's been a few days so hopefully you read this but don't get discouraged!!! You never know hun, chances are the test was incorrect but take another one just to be sure. Keep your head up and keep on trying! It's harder for some people to concieve than others. I'm sure it will be any time now so best of luck and lots of hugs!

Thank you so much for the encourgement...I did take a test and it came out negitive. So i'm not nessasarly giving up but i'm not going to focus or post for a while in the pregnancy. This has taken a negitive toll on my mental and emostional health. So far the mean time I have to let go until this can be real. I dont want to be depressed anymore, and its started to affect the one I love so I will be away for a while... ~cynthia~
