Implantation occurs 8-10 days after
conception/ovulation and normally is not
followed by any kind of bleeding. You may
be experiencing some kind of vaginal
bleeding but how can you be so sure that
you are experiencing implantation at the
same time?! Implantation can be proven
only after it has finished and a pregnancy
test becomes positive. There does exist a
so called “ovulation bleeding” that
may occur during ovulation due to a drop
in hormonal levels but “implantation
bleeding” is not possible! Implantation
does not cause bleeding! You may also be
experiencing another type of irregular
bleeding that can be caused by many
reasons (hormonal, tumor, infection etc.).
Having sex is not recommended during any
kind of vaginal bleeding (including the
normal menstrual period) due to the risk
of infections. You HAVE TO visit a
gynecologist if you want to identify the
reason for the irregular bleeding you
mention.
