Using an IUD...could I be pregnant? Posted: 09-03-06 12:35pm
have mirena coil over 3 yrs. last period
on 11th August have had"morning sickness"
over last 10days, tired, metal taste in
mouth, off food, can't tolerate food
smells etc, always feeling I've to go to
loo, husband can't feel "strings" of iud
and says vagina feels different, weight
gain and tightness above pelvic bone and
very sensitive breasts with nipples quite
dark. Could I be showing signs of early
pregnancy?

If your cycle lasts around 28 days, then
it is too early (at 23 days after your
last period) to confirm a pregnancy or to
conclude that you aren't pregnancy. All
those symptoms you’ve mentioned are
strongly subjective and could indicate
anything. Missing a period is the first
serious sign of early pregnancy, although
it is not always sure. You can take a home
pregnancy test if your period is more than
5 days late.
